Goran Denic: Electric mail
Goran Denic: Electric mail

During his working visit in Mozambique in 2001, Goran and his girlfriend had developed an intensive email correspondence. In the letter boxes he found in the dumpster near his studio, Goran installed plexi-glass plates, engraved with love emails and illuminated them with UV light. This way he created Electric mail.

Goran Denić, law and sculpture student of the University In Belgrade, continued his studies at master Alberto Chissano in Mozambique. In 1994 he graduated cum laude in sculpting at Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town. So far he participated in over 40 group exhibitions at home and abroad (Israel, Brazil, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Mozambique). In 1995 he received the Simon Gershon award along with two scholarships; he is a member of the Led Art  group and founder of ZMUC, Zemunski Mali Umetniški Center (the Zemun art Center), where he mentors drawing, painting and sculpting workshops.
