This year’s Lighting Guerrilla Laboratory in osmo/sis is dedicated to the use of old new media and their fusion with contemporary approaches to creative coding in free software environments. The result is a creative appropriation of devices otherwise used mainly in laboratory contexts. Under the mentorship of Staš Vrenko, participants were introduced to oscilloscope graphics, and then synthesised images on the exhibited screens by creating and manipulating signals in the open-source Pure Data environment and hardware. They created a space-specific AV installation for Mitnica using older analogue oscilloscopes and other devices. /Ljudmila Association/
