A series of video and animated works, created by pupils of the 1st d. class of the Secondary School for Design and Photography Ljubljana, presents a highly diverse array of moving images developed during project week within the subject Animation and Digital Image Processing. Under the mentorship of professor Miran Bratuš and artist Stella Ivšek from the multimedia collective Beam Team, the students have produced a compelling collage of works in a free-form style, thematising the title topic of this year’s festival by means of the application of various visual disturbances and interventions. The wide range of technical, thematic and conceptual approaches reveals layered interpretation of the topic, reflecting the emotional and intellectual worlds of these young artists.
